Dunkerley’s Hotel & Restaurant is ideally located at 19–21 Beach Street, right on Deal seafront in Kent. With only the road between us and Deal beach, our sea-view rooms and restaurant enjoy views towards the beach and Deal Pier. On a clear day, you can even see France across the Channel.
OUR LOCATION
Dunkerley’s is located directly on Deal seafront, with only Beach Street between the hotel and the beach. Guests can stop briefly outside while unloading luggage before moving their car to one of Deal’s nearby public car parks. Please avoid leaving your car on the service road for longer than permitted, as parking restrictions apply.
We are part of a listed building with historical Deal charm, as such all of our bedrooms are located on the 1st or 2nd floor and require stairs to ascend - we are of course always on hand to assist with any luggage on arrival, departure and any time in between!
CAR PARKING
As we are a seafront property, we don’t have parking to call our own. However, Deal has several public car parks nearby. Middle Street Car Park is our closest and is ideal for overnight stays — for a 2pm check-in, putting enough time on the meter to cover you until 11am check-out the following morning is usually the simplest option.
For longer stays, there are three 10-hour car parks and a 24-hour car park nearby. There is also free overnight parking along parts of the seafront, although spaces aren’t guaranteed, so it’s always worth checking before settling on a car park.
